My son Victor joined in January of 2009, and I am proud to say that he is still going strong at Colorado School of Acting. His teachers are talented, caring and skilled. Our family has watched Victor blossom and grow more confident. Much of this confidence I attribute to his time spent with Elizabeth and Troy. They also have a great group of talented kids that I am pleased to have my child associate with. As he grows and learns, I look forward to his continued attendance and the wonderful experiences afforded to him by his association with this very classy school.


My son auditioned to take part in the Elite Program at CSA. We couldn't be more pleased with the content of the material the children learn. He has grown tremendously as a young actor through Colorado School of Acting - in both confidence and skill. The leadership at the school is especially supportive and well-connected. Funded by the DSA Friends Foundation and the Fill the Gap Campaign, the Student Success Fund (SSF) was established in the fall of 2014 to ensure that all DSA students experience success and are not limited by financial resources. This fund provides assistance with DSA-related expenses such as lessons, art supplies, performance attire, tutoring, and more. The long-term goal of this fund is to increase the diverse population of Denver School of the Arts and ensure that all students have the financial resources to be successful. We will be able to measure the success of our fund by the ability to maintain a diverse student population at DSA with the help of support offered through this fund.

A DSA education requires significant out-of-pocket expenses, which many families struggle to pay. The Success Fund is established to provide grants to ensure that every student at DSA, regardless of income, can succeed. Applications are open through the school year and awarded on a quarterly basis. The third quarter and final deadline is February 10, 2023. Babcock is an award-winning actor with over 25 years of extensive experience in Los Angeles. His work has ranged from pilots, primetime series, daytime dramas to foreign film, horror and absurd comedies.


He has been teaching actors for over 18 years, guiding them in their professional journeys.

After a lifetime of work as an actor and teaching at university and privately, Babcock decided to create a workshop based on the desire to address the growing gap between stage technique and the practicalities of a working set. Anthony is a graduate of The University of Houston, School of Theatre, with a Masters in Fine Arts. Anthony has worked in the mediums of film, television, and the stage, finding particular satisfaction and success in classical theatre. Recognized as a dedicated and gifted teacher, he has taught as a guest artist at The University of Missouri and Pennsylvania State University, and as well, taught as an Assistant Professor at the University of Denver. Anthony has lead numerous professional workshops throughout the nation. Noted for his unflinching dedication in helping young people achieve their highest potential, Anthony launched the Summer Camp Program in 2007 with the progressive perspective that RMCT is committed to being a productive partner in multicultural and artistic communities.

And helping students build those inner reserves is what inspires him as he works with Middle and Upper School athletes.

Sometimes getting away from campus to visit with others about topics you are passionate about is all it takes to renew optimism and commit to helping bring about sustained change. Six Colorado Academy Upper School students had the opportunity to do just that when they attended this year’s Student Diversity Leadership Conference (SDLC).

If there is one word that can distill the essence of Colorado Academy’s Lower School Music Program, that word is joy. From Pre-K through Grade Five, CA’s music teachers make it their mission to ensure that every child, in one way or another, has access to the joy that is music.


Hundreds of Denver-area guests arrived by car and by bus for the 29th annual HOPE event at Colorado Academy. Entirely student-run, HOPE offers free clothing, school supplies, toiletries, baby essentials, toys, food, medical care, fun activities, community services, and much more to families in need.

“At Colorado Academy,” says Director of Visual & Performing Arts Katy Wood Hills, “every student is an artist.” That’s why every CA student loves to see their creative efforts displayed in the gallery spaces of the Ponzio Arts Center.


In October, Upper School students and faculty attended the Neustadt Literary Festival, and met Neustadt Prize winner Boubacar Boris Diop, Senegalese author of Murambi: The Book of Bones.
