This event will be a bracketed, head-to-head, double-elimination competition. Competitors will be assigned numbers and placed in a bracket. Competitors will be called to the firing line with the objective of clearing all their pins faster than their competitor. The winner moves to a winners bracket and the loser moves to a losers bracket, competing until they lose twice. Rounds continue until there is a match winner.

Your beginner will learn the basics of handling their firearm, loading and unloading magazines, proper range etiquette, and general safety procedures. After completing the safety class and instruction portion the kids will head down to the range to try out their very own .22 rifle!

All Participants are invited to our .22 Bowling Pin Competition held at the end of every month

Was my roommates and I first time EVER being to a range. They helped us pick a pistol that we were both interested in but also fit us and made sure we were comfortable w our recommendations. She answered all of our novice questions w no condensation. The man on the range itself was just as helpful w loading/ misfire questions as well as general shooting advice. Both informational and approachable. Made for a great first range session for the both of us. Will DEFINITELY BE BACK

The staff at this range are incredibly friendly, easy going, respectful and helpful. That was the most important part to me. I felt free to really have fun and enjoy myself. The building is very well kept and visually appealing. The range is fantastico! In their shop they have an amazingly large gun selection.

5280 Armory store is a fantastic experience. I just bought a rifle I had been looking all over for. I called the shop, they had the rifle in stock so I went in. First off, their store is impressive. The biggest selection I’ve seen outside of Las Vegas.

The store is very well organized by brand and caliber. When I approached the counter a staff member greeted me right away. The rifle I was looking for was in stock as promised and priced VERY competitively (even when compared to online prices).

I was also impressed by their selection of collectors forearms too. If you’re looking for a unique piece of history check here first.

The 5280 Armory offers a ‘cash’ discount on almost all firearms sold there which is nice. Basically they pass along the savings of not having a credit card transaction fee.

The staff overall was friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be driving the 30 minutes from home to make ALL my future purchases here. They are definitely worth the drive.

1) Let’s start with the whole idea about exclusivity and hard to find items. We literally have things that you cannot find anywhere else. How? It’s because we have exclusive distributor rights for Denver with many manufacturers for all of Colorado, or even all of the southwest in some cases. We have spent years and years developing and strengthening our wholesale network of rare guns and firearms for our gun store and have gotten results. What are you looking for that’s rare, exotic or hard to find? An old Colt? Got it. A special Winchester? Got it. Military grade Sig Sauer? A classic Ruger? Smith & Wesson? Remington? H & K? Springfield? Benelli? CZ? Glock? …we have it ALL, in stock.

Speaking of hard to find class 3 firearms here in Denver, CO (or any pistol, gun or rifle), when stock is low and items are scarce, often our suppliers will call our gun store first when they have one because of that relationship we’ve built together. We believe this is how we’ve built up not only our reputation but our thousands of repeat customers. We believe in building relationships with you, our customers as well as our wholesalers. Our connections in the gun world that we’ve made through our gun shop and at competition shooting events, along with the big shows like the Shot Show and other industry events have got us the best prices anywhere. 3) Ammunition is available too, on the shelves and in bulk right here in our Denver west shop. We have a section of our gun store called the “ammo bar” where we stockpile ammunition. Want .22 LR, no problem (most people are out of stock on this and have been for a long time). 9mm? Got that, too. Actually we have in stock 38 special, 38 acp, 40 S&W, 45 acp, .223, 5.56, .308, 7.62×51, 7.62×39 and more. For Shotgun ammo we have all the standards. 12 gauge .410 ga, .20 ga (slugs, buckshot, target loads, bird shot) you name it. Even hard to find defensive hollow point or target ammo rounds ammo for when your needs vary or your safety is a top concern.
