Denver Women's Recovery: what do users think?

Ashleigh Moreno: Denver women’s recovery has saved my life twice now. All I needed was honesty, willingness and an open mind. The clinicians are incredibly accepting and caring. They work with schedules and provide countless resources. As well as a deep dive into the education side of addictions and trauma. I started on 2020 and have not had a drink since

Tessa Kochery: DWR literally saved my life. When I first entered the program I was a beyond broken 21 yr old who thought their life would definitely end in incarceration. After leaving a correctional facility, doing a full treatment program I had no where to go. DWR full forced swept in and welcomed me with open arms. The community within DWR is something I forever will hold near and dear to my heart. They helped me become an independent sober women and words could never be enough to express my gratitude. If you feel there is no hope left and your life is near the end, DWR is the life present you need. From dissecting your mental health and trauma to find the roots of your addictions is just a thin layer of what they offer. If you are a hopeless dope fiend DWR will change that mindset into a dope-less hope fiend! Get the help you deserve and start here.

Cassandra Carter: Everything about Denver Women’s Recovery was home the minute I walked through the doors.DWR was everything I needed at every level of my rock bottom. Every staff member played a pivotal role in my time at DWR. I am thankful for the way each part of the IOP program was run and how the curriculum was delivered. I grew into who I am as a person through IOP and OP processing groups led by great facilitators in a safe environment. I felt free to be me at all times and never once felt judged for being who I am. I also had the pleasure of living with and developing a community with a strong and courageous group of warriors of women. All of my experiences at DWR and the home I found there helped me to transform into the woman I am today.

Mackenzie Gilchrist: I kept coming back because I knew I wouldn’t find a better place to heal, and they never gave up on me. Their staff is supportive, kind and extremely capable.

Emily Byrne: Women’s Recovery is amazing! They truly empower women.

Anjee F: Through ASSmosis... I found Clarity, Connection and HOPE.Grateful to have witnessed life being pumped back into so many of my group mates – caterpillar to butterfly transformations. One unforeseen blessing that has been a pleasant surprise is the net of support from so many incredible BADASS group mates/alum - we continue to encourage one another that Recovery must remain OUR daily priority.Oh! I must share about Lola. Lola is just the most cutest flippin' Animal-Assisted Social Work pup that joined the WR team after my time. I gotta say that I’m a bit jealous of all the current and future clients that get to share space with this precious little gift.Last bit of advice… Remain teachable! Try to leave your armor at the door - they can’t help US if WE don’t let them. Also, try to remember WE show up to treatment with A LOT of baggage and it’s going to be messy 🙏🏼 Allow compassion for yourself and others 🙏🏼My DWR experience forever changed my life.

Tassi Jarvis: This place sincerely saved my life ❤️

Schaeffer Rees: Top notch clinical work, great family programming, dedicated, diligent, compassionate staff. The work my sister did there empowered her to find happiness in sobriety. Thank you Women's Recovery for giving me my sister back!

Beloved Child: DWR was exactly what I needed when I relapsed after 4 years of sobriety. I had moved to the area recently and didn't know many people yet. I felt very alone and isolated. DWR helped me re-connect with people and get back on track with my sober life. This was my 2nd IOP experience. DWR's approach is much different than my first experience in that they are VERY trauma informed which was super important for me, and they encourage you to make connections with your peers outside of group. The women in my cohort are AMAZING. I feel very supported and safe with them. I really loved the counselors who ran the groups, and I LOVED my individual therapist. She gave me unconditional positive regard, she was very present, and she gave me validation and affirmation that I needed very much on some difficult life experiences that I hadn't gotten from some prior therapists. The staff at DWR is hands down the best. They listen to suggestions and make changes based on input from their clients. I was impressed by that. I opted to do the continuing outpatient group after I finished IOP. This felt like a safety net while I explored different support groups outside of DWR. My experience was great, and I am deeply grateful to the awesome women at DWR. 3 3 3

madeleine lutz: I lived at the sober living and did IOP and OP there a little over 1.5 years ago. It was a great place to get sober. Of course there is always some issues when you have several girls living there together but there was really no issue with the staff. I followed two women that helped there when they started their own therapy businesses who i still work with to this day because of how amazing they were when I was a client there. My therapist, Sharon, was the BEST therapist I have ever had. She helped work through trauma and grief while i was there which has lead to me being over 2 years sober now. I made life long friends with the girls in the house. I had the option of having my own room and bathroom which made things so much easier for me after sharing a room with a ton of girls in rehab. The size of the house made it easy to get alone time and the location is easily accessible for people who do not drive. I loved having access to a gym in the house. I watched movies and shows every night in the theater. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because i had a negative experience with Rachel, a therapist there. Other than that my time there was great and is what kept me sober.

Haley Moten: Denver Women’s Recovery was the best thing to happen to me in my sobriety journey. By fully committing myself to DWR’s incredible IOP program and individual therapy sessions, I am whole again where I used to feel empty. I am authentically happy and my marriage has healed. Sobriety has given me back my beautiful life and I am so thankful that DWR taught me how to continue growing in this direction. I couldn't recommend Denver Women's Recovery more.

BethandBrock Vogel: I was treated with compassion which has led me to become vulnerable, helpful and comfortable with who I am becoming. The comprehensive program was exactly what I needed. The program not only deals with the addiction but also with what brought you to your addiction. Meeting with other women who were going through the same transformation, meeting with my counselor, a psychiatrist who understands addiction and my recovery coach has been invaluable to my recovery. If you are needing recovery, do not hesitate to give DWR a call. I promise you will be glad you did. It has changed my life for the better.

Parker Libhart: I am so grateful for DWR. I was lost, even coming out of treatment. The best decision I made was going to a sober living, just for women. I struggled with affirmations and attention seeking- and being in a home and group of all women helped so much. I learned to be a strong woman in recovery because I was surrounded by strong women in recovery. I will always be thankful for the women, the staff, and all of DWR!

Continuum Recovery Center of Colorado: Outpatient Alcohol & Drug Rehab Denver CO: what do users think?

Breebree Wilson: Staff are super informative and helpful and don't take long to help you with answers to any questions you may have.

Trevor Barham: Continuum was an awesome experience for me!   The group therapy with Walt was very helpful and something I looked forward to.  I enjoyed the topics discussed and other activities he has planned for us.  Caroline their peer coach was also great, we met regularly to see if where I needed additional support and provided me with great ideas and resources.  I highly recommend Continuum for anyone needed addiction help.

M Ray: So far I feel this program is amazing It really helps tie in my week and also has me looking forward to the goals they have me making

celina ornelas: Staff is awesome thanks to Aliya for working with me !

Shawna: Very caring nas very professional. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they made it to get information as well as services. Would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Michelle Millheim: After having a horrible experience with another company for my DUI classes, I am so incredibly happy I found Continuum. All the staff I have spoke with on the phone, via email, and on zoom have been very helpful and understanding of the situation I was in.I was able to get back into classes within days. The whole process has been smooth and I feel supported in my recovery and as a person.I would highly suggest Continuum to anyone for help with addiction and if you have unfortunately gotten a DUI.Thank you to everyone who I have worked with so far. I appreciate all of you

henry twitchell: Just a great atmosphere and great staff and clients!

Victor Hansen: There will always be stress and adversity in life, but prior to getting sober, I was not handling my stressors responsibly or healthily. I chose to use alcohol to cope. I shifted blame and responsibility to anything but myself. I felt alone, not quite able to fit in. I felt misunderstood, and as though my opinion did not matter... And so many other self disparaging things. To me, recovery is a blessing. My experience with Continuum has been life enhancing. I went into this program with an open mind and a willing desire to make positive growth in my life. As with anything in this world, you get back what you put into it. So I sincerely put forth effort. Of the most significant things I take pride in is honesty with myself and transparency within my relationships. Two of the most important things I feel like I can be in this life is empathetic and compassionate. That is what I take with me for my time with the therapists from Continuum. Because that is how I see them.So I just completed my DUI therapy and education class with Continuum. A few weeks ago we watched a Ted Talks video about addiction. The principal of the video was that the opposite of addiction is connections. I really gave a lot of thought to that idea, and I feel as though it is truly profound. Going forward in my life, I intend to continue to invest in all my relationships. Even the small things I do in life, I do with love. Thank you everyone at Continuum, I am grateful for all the support, knowledge, and relationships made. Good luck to all who aspire to make positive change and growth in their life.

B Kbrew: Walt and the staff have been very helpful and supportive as I begin a new journey.

Heather Johnson: I have felt nothing but compassion and patience from everyone who works there. They provide a wonderful healing experience for people who are recovering from addiction.

Robert J. House: So far so good. Very nice people and enjoy the ability of online classes.

Stout Street Foundation: what do users think?

Michelle Lang: I am in recovery myself so to see a program like this was awesome. 3 guys from there helped to move and I got to know them a little during that time.

Ron Harrison: Stout Street Foundation… there is not enough words or space to post of the incredible movement in recovery that this place doles out. I speak from personal experience when I say this place changes lives. Nothing else worked for me. Thank you Stout Street for everything!!

Gabriel Seale: This place has saved countless lives. No other facility sets you up for success like SSF. Thankyou SSF

Rachel Tanquary: Note to self, do not donate to Stout St. Foundation.I pulled into their huge empty lot to meet someone that is buying a vacuum from me... Within 3 minutes, 2 guys came out and said it was private property and that I couldn't park there. I literally thought they were the people I was meeting. Set the vacuum outside and everything. It is a huge empty lot. Not like I was staying the night or something.I was literally there for 10 minutes tops. Aren't all lots private? So I guess most would let me park to do this, but then there are some huge empty ones that won't.I don't get it.

Sarah H: Thank you for teaching me a new way of life. I am forever grateful to have such amazing people in my life and to have a life period! I have felt the support from every inch of this building and all that lies within it. Solid is my foundation and sobriety made us and that place diamonds. Love me, you, we and us!

Mona Smith: My son just reached his 6th year anniversary of living clean. As his Mom, I didn't think he would see his 21st birthday let alone his 27th. Thank you so much for being here and keep up the good work.

Wescott Morris: Celebrating 5 years of sobriety thanks to the tools and relathionships that were established at Stout Street. Its a hard programs, but life before sobriety was no walk in the park. Thanks Stout Street!

AMANDA MARTINEZ: Serenity at stout street was a wonderful experience for me I was there for 30 day's and at the end I didn't want to leave the staff really made me feel at home and welcome they were kind when i needed it and gave me the advice I needed when I had hard day's they always encouraged me to take some time and talk to some one. Out of all the treatments I have been to this is by far the best one the help i got there was amazing it really opened me up to alot of things about my addiction and myself it was a blessing to be apart of something so special and would advise anyone struggling life with addiction to go to serenity.

dylanvs: May 23rd, 2018 after multiple arrests and a few long miserable years of destroying myself I was given an ultimatum by larimer county drug court. Go to stout street or go to the community corrections for 2-6 years.Community corrections would have been way easier and less challenging, but I had literally just lost one of my closest family members to an overdose and my family was torn in pieces at the time.I didn't want help, but my family didn't want me to die and I didn't want to hurt my family anymore. I knew if I didn't stop I was going to die, so after weeks of sitting in jail I finally decided I was going to go.It was really hard in the beginning, I was very unfamiliar to everything. I felt like I didn't relate to anyone and that I wasn't in the right place. I wanted to leave several times during the first month but thankfully I didn't. It became much easier after I built friendships with some people and started to see the benefit within in the classes and therapy.I started to talk to counselors more often and really pay attention to class at around 6 months in, it ended up working out really well for me and I ended up meeting a lot of awesome people and having tons of fun. It's really hard at times but you do have a lot of fun there.Anyways I completed last June and Im doing better now than I ever have in my life, renting a house with a couple friends from the program and working full time, saving money. I still do therapy with a counselor, the work is a lifetime thing but I've grown so much and learned so much more in the last 2 years than I have in my entire life.I'll forever be grateful I made the choice to come here

Heath B: I completed Stout Street Foundation in 2004. It helped change my life and give me the tools and skills needed to be successful in life. It's not easy to look at your own issues, but if you can push thru it's definitely worth the life that's waiting for you!

Joseph Ellis: Outstanding program! Been around for 45 years and have helped tons of people change their lives!Comprehensive trauma-informed care. Mostly evidence based curriculum. Staff is SUPER knowledgeable about treating Substance Use Disorder. Executive staff is top-notch and always improving the program. Very plugged into the community and have resources for any toe of treatment plan!

R C: This program I'm sure is a great program because they do have a large number of graduates. The program Deffinately is not for everyone. House games you need to see to believe. But there is plenty of support there for those who stay. One will need an open mind for sure, and have both feet in.

Recovery Center - Mental Health Center of Denver: what do users think?

Raine Girardot: This clinic has been an absolutely integral in my mental health over the past 8 years. Barriers to care, primarily socioeconomic, had kept me from seeking and maintaining regular help for a long time. MHCD/WellPower has given me tools and resources I truly never thought possible and helped me clear those barriers and hurdles to finally be able to care for my mental health. Every psychiatrist, therapist, nurse, staff and pharmacist has been incredibly helpful and supportive when I’ve been both stable and in crisis. Scheduling appointments and contacting certain departments can sometimes be difficult and require patience, as they serve such a huge patient population. However, that “inconvenience” is well worth knowing that everyone there is on your team. Thank you WellPower for breaking down those barriers and for creating a safe space to get the help I thought I couldn’t get.

Christopher Padilla: There are some clinicians that work here who have a genuine interest in seeing you heal and when you are a victim of domestic violence and stalking you need all the resources you can get. Thank goodness for Paola Atehortua, she is one of the best case managers I have ever seen and extremely professional and goes out of her way to help her patients succeed. Paola boasts a motherly and nurturing attitude in her care for her patients and is one of the best clinicians I have seen in operation and gives Wellpower the notoriety of being one of the best mental health centers in Denver. Truly grateful that people like Paola still exist.

Missy P: There was a miscommunication hiccup, but once I got talking to a therapist they were amazing and so helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Jeremy Donaldson: They're a great help and reminder that I'm not alone...

Troy Burse: Amanda is helpful, knowledgeable and quick! thanks, will shop again.

tara lynn: They try really hard
