Colorado Ballet Academy is grateful to train dancers who come from a variety of backgrounds. Students join our Academy at all ages and levels with unique goals and aspirations while sharing a passion for classical ballet. Academy students share a space with Colorado Ballet and experience unique opportunities to dance alongside, take class from, and begin their professional dance career with the Company.


At Colorado Ballet Academy, we believe that performing is crucial for developing artistry in young dancers, which is why we make performance opportunities a priority in our training curriculum. We provide regular performance opportunities at our in-house Black Box Theater, as well as an annual full-length classical production at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House each May. Colorado Ballet Academy students are given the opportunity to audition for and perform in Colorado Ballet’s productions each year.
